Reiki for Animals
Support that honors your animal's wisdom
Reiki sessions for animals are quiet, respectful, and led entirely by your animal companion.
There’s no forcing, fixing, or handling. I simply hold space—and your animal decides what to do with it.
Whether we meet in person or at a distance, Reiki can help your animal feel safe, settled, and seen.
I am a Certified Level 3 Practitioner in the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki, a compassionate approach developed by Kathleen Prasad that honors the animal’s agency and wisdom in every session.
What to Expect
- Sessions are 30 to 60 minutes
- Your animal is never restrained or required to participate
- I may sit nearby, across the room, or connect remotely—whatever respects their comfort
- There is no physical touch unless your animal initiates it
- Many animals choose to lie down, rest, or simply observe
- You may notice a shift in mood, behavior, or energy after a session—sometimes subtle, sometimes clear
Reiki may be helpful for animals who are:
- Anxious, fearful, or recovering from trauma
- Dealing with illness, pain, or aging
- Grieving the loss of a person or another animal
- Sensitive to touch
- In hospice or end-of-life care
- Adjusting to a new home or major change
- Great for vet visits
- Recovering rescues
distance sessions:
Reiki isn’t limited by location. Whether we’re in the same space or connecting from afar, the approach is always the same: calm presence, no pressure, and full respect for your animal’s boundaries.
Some people choose distance sessions for comfort, location, or convenience. But as always, the choice to engage is entirely up to your animal.
Rates: 30 minutes to 60 minutes - $60
Sessions are led by your animal and end naturally when they disengage. Distance and in-person options available.
(Sliding scale or donation-based options may be available for rescues, hospice, or financial need. Just ask—I'm happy to work with you.)
